Description
Trillium Brewing Company was founded by JC and Esther Tetreault, a young dumb couple in love, planning their wedding and dreaming about how they would spend their lives together. The desire to build a brewery was about more than just making beer, it was about creating a way of life and building a community with which to share experiences. A beer geek and botany nerd, JC chose the trillium flower to represent what we strive to bring to our beer and our lives: beauty, strength, simplicity, and balance. We operate a brewery and taproom in Canton, MA as well as a full service restaurant and brewery in the Fort Point neighborhood of Boston. We also operate seasonal pop-up beer gardens around the city of Boston under the Trillium Garden project.

This is probably one of the better of the Trilliums I had today at the Churchkey tap takeover event. Lots of hops flavour on the nose--pineapple, unripe papaya and tangerine. Pours murky yellow with pretty good head and lacing. Light hop tang finish. Nicely done.

16 oz can at Paragon, 9/18/25. Unclear golden pour with a fizzy white head. Grapefruit, owner zest, pine. A little bit herbal. Nice flavor profile. Solidly bitter on the finish. Good stuff.

Bottle from my brother: pours gold with big head. Aroma is funky, sort of vegetal, some flowers and lemona. Taste is lightly funky, barely tart. Plenty of spice. Some wood and plant matter. Funky aftertaste.

Aromas are citrus, MJ, resin, stone fruit and malt - really fresh. Flavors are similar to nose with citrus, MJ standing out. Great balance between bitter, sweet and slightly soft carbonation. Nice beer.

The # 37 best Porter - Pastry / Flavoured on Brewver. 16 ounce can from Libby’s Liquors in Lawrenceville. Dark brown pour. Large, dense tan head is long-lasting. Aroma of roasted malt and fresh ground coffee. Flavor is sweet roasted malt, dark coffee, vanilla bean and toasted nuts. Wonderful smooth, creamy mouthfeel from the oatmeal. An incredibly delicious brew.
