Description
First brewed in Summer 2008. Beers under the badge "Chideock Brewery", but coming from the same source were seen in May 2012. Brewery location North End Farm, Venn Lane, North Chideok. By 2014 the brewery had ceased brewing on its own equipment while seeking new premises. In the meantime it is believed that some beers are being brewed on an occasional basis at Sherfield Village brewery. In 2016 brewing recommenced at a new location in Devon. Brewing ceased again during 2020 with production moving back to Sherfield Village.

Bottle from Cotteridge Wines, Birmingham. Poured a hazy medium amber with a frothy white head and some broken lace. The aroma is peach yeast and lots of hops. The flavour is medium bitter with a big chilli spice pepper hop light toothpaste palate. Medium bodied with average carbonation. A really unusual and interesting beer. Might be a little too spicy for some but it hits the mark for me.

Bottle at the "Lets celebrate the fact that Dean is already the Mayor of M&S Den Haag even though it’s only been open for 24 hours tasting!". Poured a hazy light amber with a thin white head. The aroma is malt and grassy hop. The flavour is medium bitter with a malt hop bitter palate. Medium bodied with average carbonation. This beer is all about the hops but no complaints from me.

500ml Bottle - Copper with a foamy head. Sultanas, dried apricot, pine and some hints of berries in the aroma. Hoppy, fruity and resinous taste with notes of pine, dried fruit, grapefruit and berries. Easy to drink, in fact its drinkability belies its fairly potent strength.
