Bottle bought at Four-Ale, Gosport. Aroma has boozy and berries, with underlying malts and black chocolate. Dark and glossy. Tar. Creamy beige head soon thins out. Flavour is slightly less boozy than the aroma suggests. It is boozy, just not overpowering. Fruity booze. Dark chocolate, with a hint of milk chocolate. Malts. Light-medium bodied. Slick verging on thin. Fizzy carbonation. Long dry slightly astringent finish. Pleasant barrel aged stuff.

Cask @ Bookshop, Southampton. Extremely dark with a head. It has a very pleasant dark malt character with a modicum of sweetness and slips down the palate well.
