Sample thanks to Grumbo: Poured a golden coppery with a white color head. Aroma is sweet malts, caramel, little oxidized. Taste is sweet malty, toffee, caramel, wet.

26/11/2021. Cask at Hop Beer Shop, Chelmsford. Pours clear dark amber with a small off-white head. Aroma of caramel, sweet malt, fruits, biscuit, berries, hint of sulphur. Moderate sweetness, medium bitterness. Moderate body, oily watery texture, soft carbonation.

[Cask at the Alehouse, Reading.] A bright amber pour with a scummy looking cream head; aroma of apple, purple berries and yeast; full bodied with berries and caramel malts nicely balanced with a hedgerow bitterness. A smooth and satisfying pint.
