[Cask at the Bell, Waltham St Lawrence.] A pale chestnut pour with a thin cream head; malty aroma; biscuity malt taste; with a dry finish. A simple malty bitter.

Cask half-pint, hand-pulled in The Armoury, Shrewsbury on 12th April 2019. Red hue to the clear amber body, white crown on top. Malty nose and taste, fairly sweet throughout with a slight fruity flavour in the finish.

Cask at Swan, Farnborough. Malty floral aroma. Amber. Blotchy frothy white head. Light-medium bitter. Hoppy a load of malts. Medium. Slick. Flat carbonation. Abrupt finish. OK English IPA aka a malty gold.

Cask @ Trades Club, Hebden Bridge. Hazy golden with a head. It's a hop-malty beer with a sweetness to proceedings.

Cask-conditioned, on gravity, at the Gryphon, Bristol 7/3/2019. Golden in colour with a slight, off-white, head. An easy drinking pale ale, with some ripe cereals, leafy hops, touch of sweetness and moderately bitter finish. Ok.

ABV: 4.5%. Clear medium to dark amber colour with a small to average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, sweet malt, caramel, malty. Flavor is moderate sweet with a average duration, sweet malt, caramel. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft to flat. [20190123]

Cask at Silverback Alehouse, Winton. Clear amber with an off white head. Aroma of fruity hops, citrus, grain and light malt. Flavour is light moderate sweet and bitter. Light to medium bodied with very soft carbonation.

Cask-conditioned at the Prince of Wales, Chippenham 7/12/2018. Amber in colour with a frothy, off-white, head. Hedgerow fruits, leafy hops, some caramel, biscuity malts and a moderately bitter finish. Fine.
