Cask at GBBF 2016. It pours clear amber with a small white head. The aroma is toasted grain, soft, sweet, cereal, grainy husk and orange muffin. The taste is bitter - sweet, orange muffin, toasted grain, orange peel, tangerine, kumquat, spice, muffin, pepper and light alcohol with a dry finish. Medium body and fine carbonation. Decent enough.

Bottle pour into nonic pint glass from Leary’s Fine Wines. Aroma is nice fruity esters, clove, some bubblegum. Appearance is hazy, pale yellow with greenish tinge, attractive mild sparkle, finger width foamy white head with fair retention and nice sudsy lacing. Taste is strong fruity ester sweetness. Palate is medium bodied with sticky texture and lively to fizzy carbonation (kind of stings--a bit too much) that dominates the taste/palate experience, dry finish. Overall, pretty true to style without a lot of nuance.

Pours deep gold into a shaker. Bright white head with excellent retention recedes to coat surface. Sour caramel aromas. Thick with sweet tofee and sourdough upfront continuing with mildly hot caramel in the medium length finish.
