12 oz. bottle. Slightly hazy yellow color, thin soapy head. Aroma is mild yeast that gives traces of clove, banana and mild floral hints.
Flavor is weak clove and Belgian yeast that gives of the same banana and flower notes. Lighter body with a mild yeast ester finish. Easy to drink although I would call this a saison be any sense of the imagination. It’s a standard Belgian blond. But the brewer calls it a saison…. I’m not going to fight the labeling. Drying texture with a light body. Ok, OK, it’s borderline a saison. But not in a traditional sense.

12 oz. bottle at Julio’s Liquor Brewfest. Hazy yellow color with thin head in a 3 oz sample glass. Aroma is a myriad of fruits, grapefruit zest, orange, maybe peach and light resin.
The fruit is the first thing that hits my tongue and after would a modest grain bill. The finish has some pine. The thing I always get from a session IPA is a light watered down mouthfeel. This does NOT feel watery; I really appreciate that because it’s not easy to make a session feel like a higher gravity ale. The hop profile also gives a larger flavor then what it is. Wow, a session IPA done correctly. Nice job here.

12 oz. bottle purchased at CBC, Portsmouth location for a price of $1.75. Right at the pop of the cap I could smell blueberry. After the shandy was poured into a flute glass the lemons could be noticed.
Flavor is balanced between blueberries and lemonade with just a splash sweet bready malt. Slight lemon zest in the center that turns to the malts. Light body with a high carbonation level. For a shandy this is pretty refreshing.
