Bottle thanks to Stuu666. Pours black with a thin beige head. Aromas of sour funky liquorice and prunes. Something savoury, almost meaty on the taste. Soy, umami. Thin finish.

Bottle thanks to Stuu666. Appearance - dark brown to black and opaque. Not much head to talk about. Nose - wood and wild yeast sourness. Taste - interesting chocolate with underlying green apple sourness. Palate - medium bodied, sour, persistent finish. Overall - interesting. I didn't get any whisky on this.

Cask @Luppolo Station (Rome). Dorata, leggermente torbida, schiuma bianca media, discretamente persistente. Al naso note maltate, di biscotto, terrose, di tè, leggermente fruttate. In bocca ha un ottimo bilanciamento tra la parte maltata e i luppoli, pur con un amaro abbastanza presente in chiusura. Corpo leggero, carbonazione soft. Ottima.

Cask @ Cromwell's Tap House at 3.4%. Pours a clear amber, off-white head. Malty and twiggy in feel, with a gentle bitterness, mild fruitcake sweetness.. ok.

Bottle shared at CBJ - cheers to Kenny. Pours black-brown with a small, creamy tan head. Medium sweet flavour, quite tangy, some old leather, earth. Medium bodied with fine carbonation. Finishes with more tangy dark malts, booze, berries. So so.

Craft Beer Junction bottleshare, thanks to me. Opaque dark brown beer, very thin dark tan head. Smooth and semi dry palate, decent fine carbonation. Smooth dark malts if a little thin. Good dark chocolate, but slightly tart with edgy dark fruits, never quite sour. A mild savoury Brett on the semi dry finish. Interesting.
