On tap at Beer Emporium, pours a fairly clear pale golden with a small white head. Aroma is smooth, with soft bready malt and very subtle floral hops. Flavour is likewise very soft, with bready malt, almost no hops, and grain. When it's not on cask, you can really confirm that there's almost nothing to these! Smooth and drinkable nonetheless.

Bottle shared by Jeff, thanks! Pours a near clear burnt orange with a gold hue and white head that dissipates quickly to the edges. Aroma has sweet grains and toffee with a bit of oak and booze underlying. Flavor has boozy sweet grains and toffee with a bit of bread and caramel underlying.

On tap at Euston Tap, pours a clear deep dark amber with a small off-white head. Aroma is fairly restrained, with bready malt, gentle resinous hops, and a touch of woodiness. Flavour is bizarre, with a woody resinous hop character, some stale vegetal notes, and harsh astringency on the finish. Not smooth at all, just harsh and vegetal. This doesn't seem quite right.

Canned (from MiniMani Vaasa). Hazy orange colour, small white head. Aroma is floral, fruity, some mild nectary and mild herbal tones with mild wooden tones too. Flavour is nicely sweet floral tones with some freshly cut wood, grass and mild herbal and sweet malty tones too. Kind of Golden Ale like Best Bitter...

44cl can partagée avec Tim, achetée à Londres. BB 21/06/2024.
