660ml bottle. Pours hazy, golden orange with a thin head of lace. The nose has raisins, some earthiness. The taste has pistachios, with earthy spice, maybe parsnip. The palate has a medium body and texture with a dry refreshing finish. Overall, quite a complex beer for the percentage.

Bottle
Black, thin ruby edges, good frothy tan head, good lacing
Aroma - dark caramel malts, some wood smoke, soft dark roast, some light graasy and citrus hops, light earthy malts...bit unusual for a Black IPA
Taste - soft roasted malts...dark caramel..light burnt wood...some fruity malts...hint of orange..light citrus and hay hops...light resin hops...some fruity chocolate...fairly complex taste
Palate soft carb, medium body. Finish is a wave of soft fruity roast with a tiny hint of charcoal with a fairly long pleasant linger which reveals more of the fruits
Overall - Not like other BIPAs I’ve tried - interesting quite complex with more emphasis on the malts which have a bit of a smoky earthy edge

Bottle from Alesela
Pale straw, hazy, big frothy white head
Aroma of citrus fruits, pineapple, some grapefruit, bit of hay, pale malts, fairly strong hoppy aroma
Taste - lots of citrus hops, grapefruit, tropical fruits, pineapple, bitter zest, bit of yeast, sweet pale malts, fairly acidic, less fruity more bitter zest than aroma, wet hay
Palate - medium to high carb, too fizzy, light body, citrus bitter zest palate. Finish as main flavour, citrus bitter, bit astringent (in a good way), cleans well
Overall - Well made Golden ale but too fizzy so only managed to fill 2/3 pint then lots of yeast afterwards unfortunately

Bottle 66 cl. Courtesy of Rasmus40. Pours an opaque dark brown with an orange hue and a beige head. Greasy, citrusy hop aroma atop some roast. Medium body, dry and dusty hops combined with a distinct chalky roastiness. Ends bitter from both hops and malts. Not the most refined Black IPA. 310312
