Cask at CPK. Pours a clear, rich amber with a soft, white head. Rich caramel, leaves and pineapple hops in the nose. Damn good flavor, very sweet but backed by the hops as well. Loads of candied sugar, fruits, caramel and toffee, alongside a potent bitterness that is resinous and piney. Full bodied with fine carbonation and quite warming. Finishes sticky and sugary, warming, with hints of booze. The bitterness coats the throat. Nice heat. Overall pretty awesome.

Cask at Cask Pub and Kitchen, Pimlico, London. A near black coloured pour with a medium white head on top. Pleasant roasted coffee aroma. Tastes of roasted coffee, chocolate, dark fruit, malty, hint of port. A little thin but still reasonably good.

On cask at the Cask and Kitchen, Pimlico. The colour is cloudy amber with a medium beige head. The nose is of cheese, farmyard, hay, grass and some resin. The taste is cheesy, with varnish, nuts, pineapple, lemon, and grapefruit, ending with some alcohol warmth. Decent enough but found the cheese notes a bit off-putting.
