Bottle from Kris Wines, London. Drunk whilst watching the champions league final at mums. Cloudy yellowish pour with a medium sized fading off white head. Nose was fruity with notes of honey, malt and yeast., all of which were picked up again in the taste which was nicely hopped. and led to a lingering bitter finish. Certainly an above average example of a style which I find can be a bit tedious.

Bottle from Corks, Bristol. Hazy amber in colour with a slight white head. Aromas of pine, grapefruit and sweet, caramel malts. Big, caramel flavours, with some dough, berry fruits and sticky apricots. Plenty of pine in the finish, along with warming alcohol. Very good.

Cask-conditioned at the Bag O’Nails, Bristol 18/04/10. Chocolate brown with a hint of red and decent tan head. Sweet, malty aroma of caramel and red fruit, with a hint of chocolate and grassy hop. Flavour was similarly sweet to begin with, before a lingering bitter finish. Very drinkable.

Cask-conditioned at the Bag O’Nails, Bristol 12/04/10. Deep, inviting gold in colour with a decent, lacy white head. Hoppy aroma of pineapple, grapefruit and lychee balanced by some sweet malts. Flavour was also driven by hops, with loads of tropical fruit, biscuity malts and a lingering dry finish. Another excellent Moor beer.

Draught? Cask? at Pikkulintu, shared with SaintMatty. Poured a hazy dark amber-red body. Some fruity hopiness and chewy maltiness in the taste. Full orangey taste, dry and acidic. Light bitter hoppy finish. Some nice peach also but overall just a touch too dry and acidic for its own good. Still, it gets better later on.
