Cask at Wickstead Arms, Nantwich. Pours golden yellow with a small off-white head and good lacing. Is slow to settle. Has a strange aroma that is reminscient of bran flakes ! In the mouth it is briefly sweet, before bitter hoppiness comes to the fore. Main flavour is lemon shred marmalade, along with hints of apricot, butterscotch and nuts. Finish seems t vary between bitter and sweet. It’s reasonable, if a bit strange.

As Mobberley Wobbly. Clear light brown colour with thin creamy head. Well balanced Bitter with rounded bitterness.
