Hazy gold beer, little white head. Light minerally crisp palate. Smooth malt with light sweet lactose. Little ripe citrus. Minerally crisp finish. Nice and crisp and clean but a tad too much with the lactose.

Cask @ Old Gate, Hebden Bridge. Darker brown with an off-white head. It’s still very much a porter in style but the vanilla is more than evident in both aroma and taste although not overstated.

Bottled version hopped with Chinook, Cascade and Williamette. Bright clear gold - amber beer. Tidy white head. Palate is light and a little crisp. Minerals. Very light malt base, semi sweet. Hops provide a brief flash of tropical fruits the morph into light but bitter marmalade and yellow grapefruit. Semi sweet pine before the light finish. Hangs together well and is very easy drinking. Good beer!
