Light sweet flavor with bland pale malts and light orange citrus tang, along with some bitter hay. Light bodied with fine carbonation. Moderately sweet to finish with light pale bread and fine citrus. Very average.

Cask at the Anchor, Birmingham. Poured a cloudy medium amber with a thin white head. The aroma is yeast, sour acidic citrus fruit. The flavour is medium sour. Medium bodied with an almost vinegar palate and an unpleasant sour finish. If this is how the brewer intended it to taste I’d be surprised.

On cask at Coach and Horses, Dronfield - Pale golden body, thin white head. A bit of a floral nose, very light citric hops coming through too. Rather thin tasting, not much character and rather wishy-washy, with a bit of a soapy finish. Not too good, but have had much worse.

Cask @ New Delight Inn, Hebden Bridge. Golden with a thick creamy head and a nice smooth texture. It’s not huge on flavour but some sweeter fruits are evident and maybe a touch of spice in the palate.

Shared with Finn at The National Winter Ales Festival. Cask, half pint. Fragile bubbles at the top of a yellow-golden body. Moderate smell of citrus. Fruity hoppy taste, hints of resin. Mid-dry, subdued bitter endnotes. Very ordinary (Manchester, 24.01.2013).
