ABV: 4.8%. Clear dark red brown colour with a small, fizzy, fair lacing, fully diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, sweet malt, dark malt, dark fruit, raisin, light chocolate, light roasted. Flavor is moderate sweet with a average duration, dark fruit, raisin, dark malt, sweet malt. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is flat. [20190723]

ABV: 5.3%. Clear dark red brown colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, beige head. Aroma is moderate malty, roasted, dark malt, light coffee, light burnt. Flavor is moderate sweet and light moderate bitter with a long duration, sweet malt, dark malt, roasted - burnt, malt bitter, coffee - dark malt. Cask-conditioned, on gravity, at the Fallen Tree, Clevedon 8/7/2019. Medium brown in colour, with a thin, off-white, head. A sweet bitter, with caramel, dense malts, a touch of berry fruit and moderately bitter finish. Fine.

Cask at the Peterborough beer Festival 2018. A light hazed deep orange amber coloured pour with a lasting loose off white head. Aroma is woody marmalade, orange, jam, apricot. Flavour is composed of semi sweet, woody, green tea, grass, grassy orange., astringent grassy hop. Palate is pithy, grainy, moderate carbonation. Tea leaves.
