GBBF Day 4. Cask. The great Harrisoni/madmitch76 walkabout. Lightly hazy gold beer, good off white head. Palate is airy and semi dry. Modest fine carbonation. Light pale malts, slight German style nuttyness. Very light floral citrus. Light dry finish. Not bad.

Cask at The Anchor, Birmingham. Poured a clear chestnut brown with a thin white head. The aroma has citrus notes, but you won’t get that if you have a cold. The flavour is weak bitter and malty and the bitterness stayed around in the aftertaste. There isn’t much else really and normally this would not be enough for me, but I really enjoyed this beer. It was really smooth and went down a treat!
