MOUTHFEEL: medium-low body with medium carbonation. OVERALL: an oak aged Festbier-type beer that lacks the wood presence and more malty richness.

AROMA: medium to medium-high roasted malt notes (dark chocolate, light charcoal and some roasted bread crust). slight hop notes (pine) and faint dried prunes. APPEARANCE: very dark ember color and clear. medium light brown head, creamy, with good retention. TASTE: medium-high roasted malt flavor (coffee-like, slight chocolate and charcoal) and some roasted bread crust. slight hop notes (pine) with a medium-high bitterness. finishes dry and somewhat burnt. MOUTHFEEL: medium-low body with medium carbonation. slight astringency. OVERALL: an American Porter with nice notes and a prominent burnt character.

AROMA: medium-low to low citric hop aroma and medium oxidized hops (dried grass). soft medium-low neutral malt background with slight sweetness. APPEARANCE: pale yellow body and cristal clear. medium to medium-large white head, creamy, with style-average retention. TASTE: similar to the aroma with medium-low hops (slight citrus and dried grass). medium-low neutral, soft malt background. medium-high bitterness with an almost dry and slightly bitter finish that persists. MOUTHFEEL: medium-low body with medium-high carbonation. OVERALL: an American Pale Ale canned in April so it has some age related issues. To be retasted.
