APPEARANCE: very dark brown body with ruby highlights. clear. medium light brown head, creamy, with medium-good retention. TASTE: medium-high roasted flavor (lightly burnt, chocolate and slight sweet caramel). medium-high bitterness with a semi-dry ti dry finish. MOUTHFEEL: medium to medium-high body. medium carbonation. OVERALL: a good american porter.

Review based on the BJCP2021 guidelines (style 34C: 20B with whole oysters). Can 47.3 cl - Batch 2996A (BB unreadable). AROMA: medium roasted malt with chocolate notes. APPEARANCE: very dark brown color and opaque. medium light brown head, with medium-low to low retention. TASTE: similar to the aroma with medium roasted malt (dark chocolate, slight coffee). medium bitterness with a dry and salty finish. MOUTHFEEL: medium-low body with medium carbonation. OVERALL: an american stout made with oysters which doesn't reflect much in the flavor apart from a salty sensation in the aftertaste. still, its easy to drink.

APPEARANCE: yellow body and cristal clear. medium white head with medium retention. TASTE: medium malty-sweet flavor with very faint herbaceous notes. medium bitterness with a semi-dry to dry and slightly bitter finish. MOUTHFEEL: medium-low body with medium carbonation. OVERALL: an helles-type beer were the hops started to decline.

APPEARANCE: gold yellow color and cristal clear. medium-low white head, creamy, with good retention. TASTE: similar to the aroma with medium-low grainy malty-sweet flavor. no hop detected. medium-high bitterness with a semi-dry to dr and bitter finish. MOUTHFEEL: medium-low body with medium carbonation. OVERALL: a german pils without much perceived hops.

APPEARANCE: very dark brown color and opaque. medium light brown head with medium retention. TASTE: similar to the aroma with initial medium-low mint/anise note, followed by medium roasted malt background. medium bitterness with a semi-dry and roasty finish. MOUTHFEEL: medium-low body with medium-low carbonation. OVERALL: an irish stout with smoked barley with very odd aroma and flavor. no smokiness detected.

APPEARANCE: mdium amber body with slight orange highlights and cristal clear. medium tanned head, creamy with good retention. TASTE: medium-low to low malt notes (toasty with hints of bread crust) with some notes of oxidation (paper). medium-high bitterness with a dry and a bit bitter aftertaste. MOUTHFEEL: medium body with medium-carbonation. OVERALL: a not so malty-rich altbier maybe due to the bottle age. needs retasting.

AROMA: medium roasted malt aroma with chocolate character. slight resiny hop note. low vanilla background. APPEARANCE: very dark brown color with ruby highlights. medium light brown head, creamy, with good retention. TASTE: initial medium-high roasted malt notes (initial chocolate that evolves to roasted), complemented by faint dried prunes and a vanilla background. medium-high bitterness with an almost dry, slightly bitter and roasty finish. MOUTHFEEL: medium body with medium carbonation. OVERALL: a nice american porter with added vanilla.
