APPEARANCE: dark red body and hazy. medium-low light pink head with medium-low retention. TASTE: very low blackberry flavor with hints of lemon. odd slight woodiness. medium-low sourness but clean. finishes dry. MOUTHFEEL: low body with medium-low carbonation. astringency present. OVERALL: a fruited sour ale with very bland flavor and some wild fermentation notes.

AROMA: medium-high fruity aroma (pressed oranges juice) with a medium-low hop presence (fresh green, grapefruit). low neutral malt background. APPEARANCE: pale yellow color with thin haze in suspension. medium-low white head with average retention. TASTE: initial medium-low fruity notes (orange juice), medium-low hops (slight grapfruit, lime), low neutral-sweet malt background. high bitterness with a dry and bitter finish. MOUTHFELL: medium-low body with medium-low carbonation. slight astringency present. OVERALL: an america ipa with added flavouring that gives it a "comercial" character, and persistent bitterness.

AROMA: medium hop notes (fresh green, herbal, lime), medium esters (oranges) with a medium-low neutral malt background with slight sweetness. APPEARANCE: light yellow body with micro-particles in suspension giving it an hazy appearance. large white head, beady, with good retention. slight lace formation. TASTE: similar to the aroma with medium hop notes (fresh green, lime), followed by low estery oranges and slight spicy phenolics. soft medium-low to low malt background with a neutral-sweet character. medium bitterness with a slight hoppy and dry finish. MOUTHFEEL: medium body with high carbonation. OVERALL: an interesting variation of a classic.

Bottle 33 cl - Batch 31.12.2029 (BB: 31.12.2029) AROMA: medium-high roasted malt and coffee with a predominant sweet background with medium-low vinous alcoholic notes. APPEARANCE: very dark brown color and opaque with no highlights. no head. TASTE: medium-high sweet coffee flavor with medium-low boozy vinous notes. low to very low bitterness. finishes sweet with notes of coffee and slight roastiness. MOUTHFEEL: full body with almost no carbonation. warmth from alcohol. OVERALL: a very sweet imperial stout with detectable boozy notes but not associated with bourbon, which is strange.

Bottle 33 cl - Batch 31.12.2030 (BB: 31.12.2030) AROMA: medium-high boozy aroma of bourbon, followed by medium-low cocoa and low coconut background. APPEARANCE: very dark brown body to black and opaque. no head. slight particles in suspension. TASTE: initial medium-high blend of bourbon, sweet chocolate and medium-low to low coconut. low bitterness with a sweet finish that evolves to semi-dry with hints of coconut. MOUTHFEEL: high body with low to none carbonation. alcoholic warmth being almost hot. OVERALL: a pastry stout with very prominent bourbon but almost in balance with cocoa in the flavor. coconut is a bit overwhelmed by bourbon and cocoa. maybe with less barrel contact (24 months is way too much).

AROMA: medium-high chocolate aroma with faint traces of roasted malts and metal. medium-low alcoholic aroma. APPEARANCE: very dark brown color and opaque. ver thin light brown head with no retention. TASTE: medium chocolate flavor with a sweet character, slight roastiness from dark malts and a low vinous character. low bitterness with a sweet that evolves into a semi-dry finish with slight sweetness. MOUTHFELL: full body with low carbonation. OVERALL: an imperial stout with added cocoa nibs, pistachio and sesame but where only the cocoa was detected.

APPEARANCE: reddish pink body and hazy-opaque. medium-low very light pink head, with medium-low retention. TASTE: initial medium-low to low strawberry flavor with a medium to medium-low sour background and slight grains. medium-low to low bitterness with an almost dry and yeasty finish. MOUTHFEEL: medium-low to low body with medium-low carbonation. OVERALL: a sour ale with a bit more muted fruit flavor with the sourness coming forward.

TASTE: initial medium malt notes (caramelized, old) with low oxidized hop notes (dried grass) and cereal husk. medium-high bitterness with a dry and overly bitter finish. unbalanced. MOUTHFEEL: medium-low body with medium carbonation. slight astringency. OVERALL: a session IPA with the same amount of alcohol of a regular IPA and already past its freshness.
