The next beer might even be better. B.C."H." = British Cask "Head" - to be perceived as some disparate lonely looking bubbles, uncertain of their CO² content, and because of their scarcity, of undefinable colour. UFO's: Unspeakable Floating Obscenities MF: NO, that isn't it. That's mouthfeel, in civilized countries. I hereby solemny propose a law to be instated by all beergeeks, -amateurs, -lovers, -tasters, - enthusiasts that forthwith the use of the infernal spice, known as coriander, is forbidden for at least the five first years of brewing, and later only to be tolerated by explicit consent of minimum five different accredited beerorganisations. Infringements ought to be sanctioned by denouncement to the international beerpress and public drainpour of the offending brew.

Draught 2026 Ed. Crystal clear, faintly orange-shot golden beer under a thick, stable white head, lacey. Vegetable frying oil, citrus, some leaves, piecrust. Citrus, lime with a markted, if unvisible tittilating... carbonation? Again some piecrust, citrusliqueur. Long-lasting citrusflavour; slick to oily, feels rather well-bodied. Initially a bit weird (the frying oil, crustflavours), but finally balance is achieved, and can be enjoyed.

Draught Small white rim over fully hazy orange-yellow beer. Citrus, if with a sweeter undertone as from caramel; hints a heated citruspeel, artichoke. Very dry, spices and resins, bitter-ish, faintly cheesy hops. Warming up, clear grapefruit. Quite slick, light to medium bodied, soft carbonation. Not half bad, if pretty classical.

Draught Very good, dense white head over fully hazy lemonjuice-coloured beer. Very spicy - aromatic nose, bit soapy, nettles, potpourri. Sweet - and yet dry, spicy finish. Slightly oppressive spice aroma, tempted to say coriander, but I can't tell it is. Maybe some strands of resin, citruspeel. Light body if very slick, almost sticky. Good carbonation. All in all, it's not my favourite Mortselarij. The spicy flavours increase in time and temperature, getting really oppressive.

Draught Very huge & dense, lightly yellowish head over hazy yellow-golden beer. Dry lupulin nose, rather intense; citrus, citruspeel, ever so slightly perfumey. Bitter lupulin, dry orangepeel, other dry fruit. Long lasting dry-fruity flavours. Bit rootspices. Medium bodied, quite hopoilslick, good carbonation. Quite good West Coast IPA!

Huge, dense & fine yellow head over hazy mossy ochre beer. Bit oppressive, almost insectoid nose; rainwater, herbs. Huge inamovible head seriously hampers nasal perception. After some time, iron(oxyde). Hayish, very lightly toasted and mainly herbal/vegetal malts. Again ironoxyde. Faint bitterness in the finish, whilst the main taste is rather sweetish. Medium bodied, slick and a bit viscous, yet almost refreshing. Head contributes to a bit creamy MF. Not that bad, in the end. Would be a rather easy drinking beer. Txs to Stef!
