I’ll try a third time. Oxidised shite picked up at Welbeck. Not the first from this brewer in this condition. Won’t be bothering again.

Battered can that actually split, via the online shop. Inevitably it pours a bit flat. Black as you like in the glass. No head. Rich chocolate malts. Old school vine fruit shizzle. Slick and stupidly easy drinking. Class beer despite the condition.

Bottle. Light haze on a medium gold. Pretty lively. Thick foam. Nose has a fusty cardboard yeasty thing that NR beers get, and you can either happily enjoy thoroughly or not depending on one’s tolerance. Anyway today is good. Good hops. Light malts. Juicy.

Bottle. Mitchell’s Wines. Fresh bottle states Simcoe Mosaic Citra Centennial. Sounds boss to me. Soft haze on a gingery gold. Firm super sticky leggy white foam. Nose has sticky pine in a shelf turd kind of way. Marmalade. Buttery toast. Very spicy hop. Taste has a buttery sweetness before a huge hit of piny sappy herbal bitterness. Some IBUs going on here. Big body with drinkability. Hugely bitter finish. Sappy and rich. Pretty bonkers actually. Nice.

Bottle via the online shop. Hazed gold. Thin sturdy white foam is nicely leggy. Nose has loads of oak. Sweet grain. Fresh hop. Bit of leather. Bit of cow shit. Bit of apple pomace. No way this isn’t ridiculous. Taste is juicy tart leathery oaky tangy bitter and semi sweet. Clean and tangy spritzy mouthfeel. Tart juicy hoppy finish. You could elaborate for ages but push comes to shove I could neck beer like this all day every day.

Bottle. Kernel advent box. Hazy murked up gold. Very nice swede in the Kernel fashion. Nose has sweet grain. Wheat. Bit of sage. Mint. We’ve got ourselves a savoury affair. Smells like a shelf turd US beer, as in it smells old and a bit sweaty. Definitely some oxidation going on here. Taste is pretty sweet overall. Inevitably bitter. Wow. Wasn’t expecting hard work from this but there you go. Can’t have it always.

Bottle. Mitchell’s Wines. Clear light amber. Nicely solid just off white foam stays the course. Nutty bready herbal soft spicy malts and grassy leafy nettle leaf like hop. Taste is nutty and sweet with mulch like bitterness. Good body stays sinkable throughout. Spicy hop finish with a light dry bitterness. Solid tackle.

Bottle. Kernel advent box. Hazed pale lemon squash colour. Huge swede eventually settles to an egg mere type affair. Nose has lemon peel and juice. Yeasty. Bretty. Mildly spicy and herbaceous. Taste is lean dry and mild bitter. Bright and very crisp with lots of burp inducing foamy carbonation. Dry lemony finish. Good starter beer. Gets the palate livened up.
