It could fairly be called a kristalweizen. Light wheat character, only a little sweet. Easy to drink, it lacking palate, aroma, and flavor. Some banana in there, but not nearly enough of it. Surely filtered.

Another from Skyview. Sour fruit with wheat and yeast. Pink in color. It really is sour, with fruit and yeast. Thanks to Skyview for this one.

22 oz bottle shared by csbosox at the 10/18 tasting. Pour is deep brown, cloudy, with a thinnish off white head. Aroma of roasted maltiness, dark chocolate and tobacco. Nice full, rounded nose. Taste is roasty, a bit milky, the chocolate and more of the tobacco. Nice smooth taste, very gentle burnt smokiness throughout. Nice Baltic Porter.

GABF’08. Brown colored beer. Aroma is very vegetal, like corn fermenting type faint sourness. Its weird and I did not enjoy it all that much. Taste is a but better with some roast and rotting cherries. Either way it seems to not hit the mark for me.

Corn. There shouldn’t be corn flavor in a saison. A little sour, some wild yeast. This beer is all over the place. I love the style but this recipe needs refinement.

Bomber shared by csbosox, thanks Chris. Pours a hazy amber color with a thick and strong head. Aroma is caramel maltiness that dominates the hops underneath, which are relatively sweet fruit punch like. Taste is a combination of lightly sweet malts and light sweet hops and some bitterness underneath that. The malts are surprisingly clean despite the sweetness. Its a cool sweet hop brew.

From Skyview. A very bitter ipa. Some citrus. It has kind of a soft, light feel on the palate, but not really any sweetness or malt, just bitter hop. Very unusual for this style, there is tons of sediment in the opaque beer.
