Can from the UK SN webshop. It pours ever so slightly hazy golden - pale orange with a decent, fluffy white head. The aroma is soft, sweet, juicy, orange sponge cake, tangerine, slightly creamy, orange creamsicle and bread. The taste is quite soft initially, limited bitterness, smooth, juicy, orangey citrus, zesty tangerine, grapefruit rind, peach, orange blossom, touch creamy, kick of booze and a touch of sticky pine. Finish is zesty, but quite short also. Medium body and average carbonation. Fruity and boosty. Decent, but lacks a bit of depth perhaps. I would of course like some bitterness to balance out the sweetness. Decent enough, but lacks wow.

Can from SN's UK webshoppe. It pours crystal clear yellow - gold with a medium fluffy white head. The aroma is fresh, clean, pleasing floral vibes, spring blossom, soft citrus, lemon curd, airy malts and crisp biscuit. The taste is crisp, dry, super clean backdrop, pleasing level of mellow bitterness, grapefruit, lemon peel, pomelo, spring florals, prickly pine and peppery notes with a dry, finish. Average body and moderate, supportive carbonation. Super crushable and quenching. Moreish.

500 c&c that Liz brought from the Chico brewery store. Pours dark brown/black with a significant tan head that didn't try to persist. Aroma of chocolate and bourbon. Close to full bodied, but not quite there. Malty but not very sweet. Heat stands in for hop bitterness, but the heat isn't obnoxiously strong. Flavor is burnt toast, roast, toffee with a good dose of bourbon/vanilla and some chocolate. Oak astringency appears and seems to be part of the bitterness. It's a pretty tasty drink. Despite what I wrote above, it is rather smooth in flavor.

Bottle picked up from Hereford Beer House, consumed at Isobel's Saturday 28th February 2026, listening to Giles Peterson on 6Music and helping Loz make a Pomegranate Potato and Dill Salad. Warm gold on the pour, light haze, slim/mid sized white head. Citrus and tropical flavours combine, there's a little piney edge but it's a bit shy, good beer but the previous two West Coast IPAs today were fantastic. Score 7.3
