Bottle pours a hazy light pale yellow with a small white head. Spoty lacing. Aroma is a bit citrusy and slightly bavarian. Surprised as this is an American Wehat. Flavor was more bitter than I expeted as well. All in all tasty and mild like the style is, and a lively carbonation and a slightly bitter almost soapy aftertaste. Thanks pinkzambia

Clear amber body with a medium creamy off-white head. Sweet citrus hops aroma. Sweet citrus hops flavor and a caramel background.

A brown ale that is not sweet at all, but is still nice and full of flavour. Just had one bottle of this, but I definately enjoyed it. A little bit on the bitter side of things. Definately would drink this nice beer another time if I get the chance.

A splendid pale ale, which I had many a time, typically from the big 20+ ounce bottle. I drink this at punk shows if I want a beer that is not too expensive, but also not malt liquor. Nice smooth and balanced taste. Not much ot say about it, except that it is a pretty damn good beer.

Clear red-brown body with fine sediment, thin off-white head. Expected aroma of toast and chocolate, paired with earthy hops. Strongly carbonated body bites the palate, and with that bite notes of toast and baker’s chocolate, followed by a surprisingly bitter, long hoppy finish. Pretty much everything I look for in a brown ale.

On tap at Pilsener Room, Portland. Amber, lasting beige head. Sligtly floral hop. Nice malts. Has a bit of creaminess. Nice green hop finish. Quite creamy, but full in mouth, but full and subtle. Nice malt and great quality.

12oz Bottle 2004 edition. Pours out a dark amber topped with a very small light tan head. A great aroma of hops and sweatness. Very good. This one is GREAT Thanks to Alan The master brewer and owner of Hair of the Dog. He gave it to me from his special stash.

Translucent brown body with a frothy 3/4 inch head. Aromas are weak, with dark malty scents. Flavor is earthy with slightly burnt toast and a touch of espresso in the background. Pleasant, not spectacular.
