Bottom fermented bottle (350ml - 2006 vintage) bought at Sainsbury’s supermarket in St Albans and enjoyed with Finn on a drinking session i Tromsø. The body has got a slightly unclear, pale golden colour. Fresh, smooth and good mouthfeel, but rather poor in aroma and taste. Some hints of malt in aroma and notes of hop bitterness in the taste can be detected. Medium carbonated (26.10.2006).

(Bottle, Stockholm Beer Festival, 8 Oct) Dark amber colour with off-white head. Malty nose with toffee, chocolate and spicy, citrussy hop aromas. Malty, nutty taste with toffee and notes of citrus in the finish. An ok brown ale, but not really exciting.

Bottled. (2006 vintage) Clear, pale golde with a small white head. Papery aroma with pine. The flavor much the same, but with a more pronounced pine-note. Thin to medium body and a bitter finish. Is the brew off, or is it the hops that makes it a bit strange? (060929)

Pour is a cola brown with a huge white head. Aroma is a nice mix of malts and caramel. One of the most malty browns i have ever had. Flavor is malts with maybe some cinnamon and brown sugar. Very tasty for a brown, which is not one of my most fav styles.

2006 "vintage" 350ml bottle from Sainsburys straw colour, white head, hoppy aroma with a touch of citrus,. Flavour matches the aroma, shades of hop and citrus as well as malt. A complex and well balanced lager.

2007 "vintage" 350ml bottle from Sainsburys very similar, refreshing but with a slightly sticky palate.

2015 "vintage" 350ml bottle from Beer52.com This remains a well-balanced lager that’s full of flavour.
