[At Københavnske Øldage 2005] A red-brown beer with a disappearing beige head. The aroma is of roasted malt combined with hints of wood. The flavor is dry roasted with notes of malt on a slightly acidic background. The body is thin.

[At Københavnske Øldage 2005] A hazy red beer with a disappearing beige head. The aroma is hoppy and sweet malty. The flavor is sweet - a little too sweet for my liking - combined with lovely hoppy notes and a dry hoppy end.

Bottle: Poured a hazy orange color beer with a small head and not much in terms of retention. Aroma is somewhat malty with some strange sweetness. Taste is also sweeteer then expected though it does not seem to come directly from added sugar but more derived from one of the other ingredient. Light spices also hit the palate at the end and again are hard to properly identified. Nice and enjoyable overall but would not necessarily seek this again.

Very disappointing. Black, no head. Flavor of blood and metal. No fruit flavor or aroma at all, but also no bitterness. Like a light schwartz beer.

Bottle: Poured a cloudy dark amber color ale with a medium head with minimal retention. Aroma is different then what I’m used to with some sweet beery-like notes and some pines is definitely identifiable. Taste is sweeter then expected with some pine flavour in the back. Generally a bit lighter then expected but still enjoyable.

(Bottle 33 cl) Very dark, almost black. Presumably it’s filtered but pretty much without head. Low in carbonation. Quite smoked flavours - almost burned. But a rather light body. Very aromatic and lovely beer. Not sure if I can taste the added kelp though... 230904

(Bottle 50 cl) Presumably a historic ale from Scotland from times when heather rather than hops were used as bittering ingredient. Beautiful amber, filtered with a creamy head. Has some gingery notes, but it’s probably from the added sweet gale. A very interesting beer. 290804

Bottle: Poured a light hazy brown color ale with a nice beige foamy head with pretty good retention. Aroma of gooseberries is easily detectable along with some malt and weird spices. Sweetness is overwhelming and well balance with the malt. Nice refreshing drink with some originality.

A hazy orange beer with a nice creamy off-white head. The aroma is very spicy and sharp - I can’t really pick out the individual parts - but I pick up honey and grapefruit. The flavor is weird - a lot of wheat and a lot of spices - though I can’t pick them out - not even the gooseberries. The mouthfeel is very smooth and the end dry and a bit watery.
