Tastes kind of like a thinner version of their organic porter - just a hint of smoke in the nose and flavor - slight chocolate and a touch of chicory - not bad.

Draught. Golden colour. Spicy aroma. Small, tight, creamy head. Citric flavour. Very nice. Reminds me very much of a wit.

A deep red beer with a dense brown head. The aroma is very spicy with allspice being most dominant, which lends it a slight herbal note. The flavor is sweet and nicely malt with lots of spices, though not overwhelming - again the allspice is most dominant, but I also find cinnamon and cloves. The malt also gives it a caramel note, and the alcohol is hiding in the background giving it a filling body and good mouthfeel. The allspice carries all the way thru to the end, which lingers for a long time, and is very smooth. I love the idea, that Garrat Oliver brewed a beer in New York especially for the Danish market.

[At Fynske Øldage 2005] A hazy orange beer with a nice off-white head. The aroma is quite hoppy with flowery and grassy notes, while the flavor is sweet and quite hoppy combined with some notes of grass and fruit - I’m thinking grapefruit. Nice not too overwhelming double IPA - though it is not listed as such.

Floral hops dominate the aroma though there are hints of citrus. Flavor also leans toward floral though there are hints of sweet citrus, especially orange. A malt backbone is evident. Medium body. Timid carbonation that works just fine. Slight bitter aftertaste.
