Évaluation no.15 Juin 2010. De couleur ambrée, elle présente une mousse effervescente à bulles moyennes mais non persistante. Son nez est composé d’oranges et d’agrumes qui se répètent en bouche accompagnées de notes de houblon, de rhum et de canne à sucre. Sans être exceptionnelle, la qualité de cette bière est indéniable.

Dégustée, commentée et évaluée en Mai 2010. De couleur ambrée, brouillée, comportant de nombreux sédiments (ce n’est pourtant pas une bière de blé ni une bière sur lie) elle donne une mousse légère, à grosses bulles, mais persistante. Gout de céréales brulées, amertume tranchante en arrière goût. Soupçon de souffre désagréable. Gout pas typique d’une blonde. Comme un mauvais mélange de blonde et de bière de blé.

Bottle from Terre de Boissons, Calais. Yes it’s got some cognac to it, but for me it lends a bit of tangerine orange to the dark beer. I have to admit that when I got home with my haul of Grimoire beers from Calais and saw the ratings I thought they’d all be duds, but I think they are alright. Canadians are clearly a lot more fussy about their beers than me.

Bottle from Terre de Boissons, Calais. Clear dark amber thin white head. Fruity aroma. What is it? Raspberry, strawberry? Raspberry I think. It’s fine. A little unsubtle. Not too sweet or sour. Some malt. Not too boozy. It’s fine. Perfumed fruit aroma. A little artificial?

Bottle from Terre de Boissons, Calais. Hazy amber colour lasting off white head. Hazy amber lasting white head. Slightly oxidised flavour, I mean it’s not very fresh. If it were fresh I would imagine it would be quite good. yes way too oxidised.

Bottle from Terre de Boissons Calais. Yes a fairly sweetish stout. Black beer with thin tan head. I don’t mind it to be honest. Fine. It’s a stout. Some sweet malts but some ballsy chocolate in there too. Fine.

Bottle from Terre de Boissons, Calais. Dark brown ruby beer with lasting thin beige head. Malty fruity aroma. Quite deep and full. I like the warming thick malts and the fruit. Pretty tasty. Yeah a good malty beer.

Bottle 500ml.[ Trade by omhper ]. Clear medium to dark red brown colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting to diminishing, off-white to light beige head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, caramel, laber laver, vanilla - vanilla sugar. Flavour is moderate to heavy sweet with a average to long duration, laber laver (candy), malty, light milk chocolate. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20130629]
