Bottle. A crystal clear golden colored cider with some bubbles ascending. The aroma is of fresh apples, stored apples, some grass and lemony hint. Some well ripened yellow apples too. It's medium bodied, lightly sparkling and mostly on the dry side, with just a hint of puckering. The flavor has a bit more lemon than the aroma, some apple sweetness, as well as fresh and stored apples and a grassy touch. A bit sweet swallow perhaps, still with a lemony sourness biting a bit. Easy to drink, easy to like, but a bit gentle I think. 200414

Taste is dry sour-ish fruity, sour apples, grass, apple cores, hay, minerals, alcohol, flowers. Medium bitterness, slightly watery and dry sour-ish fruity mouthfeel. Fair enough.

500 ml clear slimline bottle with screwcap, from Vinmonopolet, Nettbutikken. ABV 6%. Still cider, but there is a slight carbonation in the pour. Pale golden colour. Fresh aroma of ancient Norwegian apple varieties. Fresh and refreshing flavour of many apple varieties. Easy drinking. Commendable.
