Id be willingto bet this is a re-label of their elora ESB. Anyways.....this is a barebones bitter. Light goldings, light pale malts, some touch of caramel, and wet paper. Meh. [br]8/13/2012: Bottle.
Clear brown pour, small white head. Aroma of toasted cereals, light nuts, and some earthy, grassy hops. Light sweetness, medium bitterness. Medium bitter finish, with a solid toasted nut that lingers.

Smells like a sour Belgian wit with sour cherry extract. The flavor is much of the same. This is yet again another pitiful offering from trafalgar. Seriously why do they keep getting shelf space with the lcbo?

odd swet/sour aroma. There are some hops int here, but they are mixed with some off candied orange, and cherry. and some sweet caramel malts. Flavor is sweet, and slightly hoppy, some light citrus notes, with an odd wet hay finish. typical trafalgal offering, barely drinkable.

A great idea for a beer and it was one if the better beers I’ve ever had from trafalgar. A nice hop aroma, some good orange and floral notes, good malts just and overall good English pale ale.

Sweet caramel malts, burnt sugar, and some wet grass. Flavor is just more of the same. Another mediocre beer.

Clear golden pour, very small head. Decent malts, hops are pretty dull, but you can taste them. As far as pale lagers go this aint hAlf bad!

trafalgar strikes again!!!!!! Infected beer, sour malt, and very vinegary. Just awful, not drinkable, makes a good salad dressing.

amber pour with a small white head. There is actually some cedar in the aroma, but it’s mixed with chear malt, and the typical nasty ale yeast flavor Trafalgar is known for. There is more cedar in the finish, along with more cheap malt. this is an odd beer. It was interesting to try, but i dont see myself having it ever again.

Well 1st off, I have to say I’m surprised this is drinkable and not infected! Trafalgar has a brutal rep for infected beer. Amber pour, very small white head, next to no carbonation, almost a flat beer. Aroma is very grassy, with some rye in there, i can actyually tatse it, but the grassiness dominated the aroma. The flavour definitely has some rye, i can taste it,and its pleasant, but the grassiness comes back, and dominates the finish. I’m not sure about the oak ageing......i cant tatse it at all. Decent beer, it’s drinkable, which is saying alot about the other Trafalgar beers i’ve had.
