Cork and cage bottle. Pours a slight hazy amber colour with a pink-red hue. No head, just a small white ring around. Mostly fruity aromas with prunes, dates over the cranberries with some light sweetness from the honey. The sweetness is mild, not syrupy, so this is nice. A little sourness from the cranberry as it warms up. Tart is pretty light. No dark fruits this time. Pretty easy-drinking fruity mead.

Bottle from SuperStore. Pitch black with just a sheet of khaki head that quickly disappears. Nose is lots of roast with light dark chocolate and coffee along with some vanilla. very light molasses sweetness with a moderate chocolate bitterness. Mouth is medium+ and slightly sticky with very soft carbonation but with a nice dry finish. Yet another Trafalgar bottle that is quite flat... 7/3/6/3+/13-

Bottle from SuperStore. Hazy medium amber with almost no head to speak of, even after an aggressive pour. Nose is quite buttery with some light citrus and pine. Taste follow the nose with moderately sweet butterscotch being dominant and only a light bitterness appearing in the finish. Mouth is medium and creamy with very soft carbonation. I would like to think this is just an off bottle, but this seems to be the pattern with the Trafalgar offerings. Not sure why I keep doing this to myself. 5/3/5-/2/10-

Bottle from the LCBO. Clear medium gold with just a sheet of off white head that fades almost immediately to a ring but leaves some lace. Nose is very prominent butterscotch with some light grass and a damp vegetal note. Taste is medium- sweet toffee and honey with only the slightest bitterness in the finish. Mouth is medium- with very soft carbonation. I keep hoping that Trafalgar will impress me with something, but this isn’t it.

Pours a clean golden-amber colour with an off-white head, decent retention and some creamy lacing. Hardly any carbonation. The nose has a little fresh grass, but loads of butterscotch. Too much diacetyl. Lukily this is not as apparent in the taste. This is where the fresh hops appear. Nice bitterness and a decent dry finish. At least the taste makes this drinkable. Just not a great Pale Ale.

This porter poured a deep, dark Amber colour with a almost non existent soapy head. Scents include orange, cocoa and a little citrus. First swig had very low carbonation and was a little watery in the mouthfeel dept. flavours of roasted malts and orange chocolates most prominent. Finish was roasty with a little orange lingering.

Sampled from a 16 oz corked brown bottle this mead poured a hazy apricot color with a small foamy white head that left a bit of lacing. The aroma was sugar, pineapple, peach and yeast. The flavor was sugar, tart and a little bitter with notes of tannin, peach and yeast. Medium length finish. Medium body. Solid.

Did not start well as the corked popped while I was twisting the metal cage off and spilled everywhere. I am already not a fan of this brewery, but this one looks like it is not infected like most of their products. That is a good thing. Cloudy golden-amber with a fizzy head that disappears quickly. At the last pour, a creamy head appears and stays, stays and stays. Beautiful peach juice aromas with some yeast. Not as sweet and syrupy as expected. The peach is again well-balanced with the yeast. Probably their better mead so far. Quite surprised actually.

Wow ! Is this really 7% ABV. ? Seems pretty watery for one. Pours a brown colour with deep amber highlights, with a head that disappears very quickly. No lacing is left. Somewhat sweet nose with brown sugars and notes of molasses and mild dark fruits. The taste is nutty with the malts. Wet boring mouthfeel with very light roasted malts and even hints of coconuts in the finish. Nothing offensive, but nothing that grabs me and want to try again. Too watery tasting.
