22nd August 2022; Shrewsbury Beer Exchange, Chez Sophie. Five guys drinking beer and talking shit! Cheers Mat for the 12oz bottle of this Texan brew. Light golden body, clean and clear, wispy white head. Thought this was OK, a little 'thin' both body and depth of flavour wise, dry finish from the hops.

Sweet malty and not too shabby. Really wish I had not packed my stein and had bought multiple, it hits the Oktoberfest mark for me.

I was afraid this would bring back memories of my bud light with lime days but luckily those are still locked away deep inside. Maybe 5 more of these. It's more subdued lime than I'd expect but it makes for a solid refresher.

Agave, toasted bread malt, and straw aroma. Golden yellow with giant white head. Lightly sweet bready malt, and very mildly bitter straw flavor. Light body.

Date on can is 8 August 22. The aromas are oxidized hops and malt. Flavors are much better. Bittersweet, mango hops and malt. Good body and carbonation. Bittersweet finish. Maybe the best Shiner I've ever had.

Sampled from the tap at Naviagtor Taproom. Pours a clear yellow gold with a white head that dissipates slowly to the edges. Aroma combines pine and pineapple with a bit of sweet onion underlying. Flavor has earthy pineapple and sweet onion with a bit of dank citrus and sweet grain underlying.

OK, another mexican lager. These are more common than italian pilsners nowdays. Clear pale from a can. BTW this is not a straight up pale lager, its a flavored lager, styled here incorrect. It says right on the can its flavored with agave. Odd nose on this. The flavor? Different fer sher, agave, not sher. From the can its not bad. From the glass, a little less. Not offensive but I probably would skip the next serving.

Closer to a macro lager than a craft Mexican-style cerveza, with a fizzy, corn-tinged front, hints of lemon, and a seltzer-ish, empty finish. Nothing terrible, just nothing really of note, either.
