Pours murky orange with a small foamy head. Aroma of fresh zesty and floral hops, citrus, lemon, biscuity malts and grain. Taste of fresh zesty hops, lemon, grapefruit, citrus and some biscuity malts. Finish is hoppy and fruity with some lemony and grapefruity notes. Nice, fresh and hoppy pale ale. 8-3-8-4-15 = 3.8
Re-rated on 16.5.2015 from a 330ml can, BBE 27/10/2015. Slightly more balanced and feels even more fresh than the bottle I had previously. Tasty.

Bottle from Sourced Market, St Pancras station, London. A hazy amber coloured pour with a small off white head on top. Hoppy, fruity, rye aroma. Tastes of rye, hoppy, fruity, spice. Nicely balanced and complex. Bloody good stuff.

Cask at Craft Beer Co, Islington on 7th December 2012. Copper with quick-to-die head and spot lace. Spicy and fruity aroma. Sweetish blend of fruits and spices in-mouth, and a tangy finish. Zingy mouthfeel.

Bottle on the train to Edinburgh, cheers to Willis for the pour - 08/12/12 (bottle sourced from that gaff at St Pancras - Source Market?). Very dark mahogony brown approaching light black with a thin tan head that retains well. Mose is hops, jammy notes, dark malt, light smoke. Taste comprises dark malts, touch of chocolate, hops, some pine, smoke. Medium bodied with bite, soft carbonation, dry finish. Overall good stuff, but perhaps a little young and fresh - may benefit from a bit of ageing?

Bottle from beermerchants.com. A hazy amber/golden coloured pour with a medium white head on top. Hoppy, tropical fruit aroma. Tastes hoppy, malty, grapefruit, slight bitterness. Reminded me of Kernel. Very drinkable indeed and at a sessionable strength too.

Bottle from beermerchants.com. A dark brown/black coloured pour with a medium off white head on top. Hoppy, citrus fruit aroma. Tastes hoppy, citrus fruit, grapefruit, hint of chocolate, slightly bitter. Rich,complex and tasty, reminded me a little of Kernel. Nice one from Beavertown who are the best of the new crop of Hackney brewers IMO..

From tap, half-pint, drunk in a cosy atmosphere at the splendid Craft Beer Co, Islington. Dark apricot coloured body. Spotty lacing to the glassware. Prominent aroma of citrus shells. Succulent taste character offering a mix of fresh and dried fruits added by lighter notes of spices. Lingering bitter ending. Well balanced. Brit IPA at its best (London, 26.11.2012).
