Bottle. Grote Dorst. Light haze on medium gold. Off white foam lasts well. Nose has spirit sodden oak. Notes of vanilla. Some apple pomace. Sweet bready, biscuity malt. Sweet ripe dessert apple skin. Taste is sweet and semi sour. Feels heady, although not because of its ABV, more because of the spirit heavy aroma. Super smooth and a little oily with brisk foamy carbonation. Finish gets leathery and funky with more of the spirit character. Very nice.

Now we're talking. As expected, fairly sour, but the insane amount of fruit makes up for it. Humongous heap of peach here. Sweet, rich, tart and flavourful. Grape adds more fruityness and calms the peach down a bit. Or tries and fails.

750ml bottle @ Barr, Copenhagen. Intense, complex and funky with loads of farmyardy musty earthiness, sourness and cheesy yeastiness. Quite delicate and tasty old lambic blend that has aged quite nicely
