When in Copenhagen, of course you drink a birthday Bokke. Intense, complex and funky with loads of farmyardy musty earthiness, sourness and cheesy yeastiness. Quite delicate and tasty old lambic blend that has aged quite nicely

Pours super cloudy rust, small off white head, good lacing. Aroma is super woody, peaches, almost smoky, lemon. Flavor is medium tart, medium funk. Merlin body. Well, not an enamel stripper like my last Bokke experience, but I still don't see what all the hype is about here. 4,7,7,4,14

Bottle, a few different occasions. Lightly hazy golden with white head. Very fruity and grape forward, light sweetness, honey, some floral minerality. Vinous, funky, woody, super balanced. Excellent stuff.

Backlog. (Young) Bottle at Gebrande. Hazy yellow with white head. Woody, herbal, grape skins, grassy. A bit citric with dry finish. Some bitterness as well. Good.

Pours a warmer orange/yelow. Small white head. Scent is sharp, grapes are outspoken, spicy ( muskat?) Taste is full, milder than expected on the spices (or herbs, if you will). Veautifull grape integration, as this aroma shows to me it's not a kind of grape i'm very fond of, yet it works so well in the beer. Woody, fairly sharp, higher side of acidity. Amazingly balanced. Unique, and a lot nicer than expected, after the aroma that made me think this wasn't going to be my type of flavors.

Bottle thanks to Matt. Pours a cloudy ruby with small pinkish head that lasts. The aroma is raspberry, cherry, oak, funk. Slick body, jammy, berry, light funk, oak, nice tartness, enjoyed this.

Bottle from the source. Pours deep red with white head. Vineyard peach and cloves, that's exactly what it is - christmas in a bottle indeed. Superb red fruit acidity with some juicy cherry tones. Fantastic.
