Bottle - Pithy sweet grapefruit. Cloudy grapefruit ld with a dent white head. Lots of sweetness and pithy grapefruit. A bit too sweet and boozy.

On tap at Central City on Beatty, pours a clear golden with a medium white head. Nose brings out straw, cereal malt and some citrus hops. Flavour is along the same lines, with straw, bitter citrus hops and corn. Pretty standard lager that is amped up to have more bitterness. Rather astringent on the finish. Meh.

Bottle - Sweet peach. Hazy gold and a decent white head. Sour peach and a bit of chalk. Actually pretty decent.

650mL bottle, pours a cloudy golden orange with a small white head. Aroma brings out lots of floral notes, some lemon, red berries, tea and light tartness. Flavour is along the same lines, with red berries, green tea, citrus peel, and sour tanginess on the finish. Actually pretty solid for what it is. Not the most complex beer, but they did a pretty good job given the concept. Okay.

Bottle from Brewery Creek, Vancouver
Cloudy blond color, small head. Very lemony, dry, with a reasonable acid touch; the aroma has a strong fruity component, sour apricots; the flavor as well is quite fruity, sour apricots, a bit peachy. The final is short.
A bit too much on the lemon side, but at least it’s a sour beer with character.

Hazy gold, lasting white head.Light spicy hop nose and palate. However the harsh alcohol heat is far too boozy and spoils the effort

Hazy amber color. It has some sweetness, some currant flavor, bit also vegetable bitterness notes. Drinkable but something his not totally right here.

Cloudy orange-blond (less muddy than most Dead Frog casks), frothy head, with nice lace. The Jalapeño aroma is mild but evident; the chili blends well with the flavor, thanks to the residual sweetness; it’s a bit more citrusy than the regular version, but the three adjuncts create a pithy bitterness in the final.
Pleasant, but unrefined.

Cask at London Pub, Vancouver
Cloudy amber color, less muddy than the last cask, frothy head. The aroma of chili is prominent, some malt, some hop. Smooth, still chilled, enough carbonated, quite strong chili flavor but very mild chili hotness, no pineapple (a bit of it could have been fun). Dusty final.
A good base beer, that didn’t get better with the adjunct though.

Darker shade of blond, light haze, compact head. Some aroma of lemon soap and malt. Good body, not soapy like other Imperial pilsner, quite nice malts, good hopping level with a light zesty note. Powerful final.
Very good.

Hazy blond color. A bit bolder than a regular Pilsner, but the high gravity is not evident; it has nice notes of cereals and of herbaceous hops, and it’s not oily as other beers of the same style; bold bitterness.
Very nice.
