Bottle. Clear golden body with tiny yeast flecks and a thin white head. No visible carbonation. Very faint carbonation. Aroma of herbs, lemon drops and cereal. Flavour of lemon, sweet pale malt and grass. Thin body with an oily texture. Soft fizz. Flabby and unremarkable.

Keg @ Piccadilly Tap, Manchester. Bright golden with a small head. Not entirely feeling like a weiss in style, but its banana fruits do give it a taste like one. Has a malty undercurrent.

Bottle. Beer Stop, Dronfield. Clear gold, with a few floaters. Thin, sticky, lasting, white head. Lovely tangy hop. Grapefruit, and white grape. Hint of watermelon and peach. Some background of biscuit malts. Taste is sweet, turning fruity bitter. Light body. Slightly oily. Finishes soft, fruity bitter. Good beer, although the mouthfeel is a little oily, and doesn’t suit the freshness. But that’s being picky, probably. Good stuff, overall.

Tap at In de Wildeman. Hazy light yellow with white head. Loads and loads of tropical fruits with mango, pineapple, passion fruit. Some lemon, chalk, dry flour, mineral water. No sweetness, just light bitterness. Light bodied with dry finish. Really really good for the ABV.

[ As Cloudwater Winter Range - Stout ].Clear dark black brown color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white to light beige head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, roasted, moderate hoppy, grapefruit, light licorice hops - licorice wood. Flavor is moderate to light heavy sweet and bitter with a long duration, roasted, licorice, wood, hoppy, dry. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft to flat. IMO. more like a Black IPA ! [20160217]

Bottle shared at tasting. Hazy brown to dark brown colour. Aroma exotic fruits, grassy, light roasted. Taste has some light chocolate and roast. Mostly bitter, grassy and lightly exotic hops flavours. Easy drinking and tasty but falls short of excellence.

On keg at Chez Sophie. Appearance - dark brown to black with a decent head. Nose - dark malt and some leather. Taste - more leather malt tannins and just a hint of red fruit. Palate - medium bodied with a dry tannic middle that continues through to the finish. Overall - a beer that requires putting effort into but which gives back in the end.
