Haandbryggeriet currently has 10 employees all participating in developing new ground breaking beers and recipes.
The brewery has a wide selection ranging from classic and traditional beers to new and innovative brews and hybrid beer styles. Sometimes brewed with local and Nordic ingredients such as cherries, sea buckthorn, raspberries, and lingonberries. Haandbryggeriet has since 2005 also made high quality sours and barrel aged beers such as porters and Christmas beers.

From can at MB2 14.11.25. Milky pale straw colour. Rocky bright white head and lacing. Decent aroma and taste of lychee, lemon and lime marmalade and succade. Medium bitter aftertaste.

Mi2 på Cardinal, denne gangen entusiastisk ledet av Assisterende Seremonimester: brunsvart med fint skum som varer. Nybrent kaffe, mørk sjokolade, lakris, julekrydder og toner av akevitt, naturlig nok. Fin bitterhet i den halvtørre avslutningen. Stemningen rundt bordet stiger jevnt og trutt.

Kristiansand Juleølfestival 2025. Dark brown color with a beige head. Aroma and flavor is aquavit, roasted malt, spices, oak, anis, chocolate, licorice.

On tap at Patrick's. Piney, grapefruity with a light maltiness and a very good bitterness. Dry, quenching and quite tasteful. Needs a few sips to reveal what it has to offer, but it's not super exciting anyway. 747414 251106

Patricks. Golden color with a white head. Aroma and flavor is pine, grapefruit, fruit, malt.

Can at home. I’d had older year buckets but not newer. Amber pour smaller sized head. Nose is smoky and woody. Tatses of cedar, dried woood, campfire smoke, dark breads. Odd palate and lingering finish

440ml can, #1881, bought at Kjeller 5. Shared with Finn. Stable white head, hazy golden body, laces quite well. Ripe citrus aromas, promising. Lemony hops and mid-dry malts to the taste profile. Drying close. Quite refreshing. (Tromsø, 27.10.2025).
