Bottle from my friend @cunningham, many thanks. I don't know how old is this beer, but I guess quite old. Deep brown almost black color with medium beige head. Aroma of roasted malt, blueberries, other berries chocolate, raisins. Taste starts with dark chocolate, blueberries, chocolate, raisins, light caramel. Medium bodied for Imperial stout. Dangerously still easy drinkable. Alcohol is well hidden.

Tap at Valhalla Prague, thx Barba crew! Murky brown body. Tart, sticky, sharp dried fruit and papery oxidation in the aroma, bit of glue. Remarkably lean, light, smooth body with heaps of raisins, mild glue, some stone fruit, well restrained alcohol. Fun stuff but not without its flaws.

(Draft at Oliver Twist, Stockholm, 17 Oct 2025) Dark brown colour with brief, beige head. Malty, slightly vinous nose with notes of caramel, dried fruit, raisins, dates, a touch of wood and dark bread. Malty, slightly vinous taste with caramel, dark bread, dried fruit, raisins, figs and a mild herbal bitterness in a warming finish. Full body, quite sweet. Rich and warming, with a mellow boozy touch. Very nice.

Can from the Packie enjoyed at home. Pours a dark brown with faint garnet edges and a creamy tan head that persists. Dark roasted coffee and chocolate with bits of caramel and citrus to counter. Faint alcohol. Light warming alcohol burn. Creamy mouth bit beer. Boy that blurs the stout or porter and black ipa line. Pretty tasty sipper.

0,33 boks fra VP Kvaddå, delt hjemme med Daglig Leder på vår 33 års bryllupsdag: brunsvart med ok skum. Raffinert aroma og enda bedre smak med mørke karamellsjokolader, nytraktet luxuskaffe tilsatt et par dråper bourbon, hint av salt og i det hele en suverent balansert nytelse. Den friske, syrlige kaffesmaken har et element av bjørnebær i seg. Gratulerer med dagen, Kitty!

170ml draught at Ølhallen. Near-clear golden body under a tiny white head leaving fair lacing on the glass. Inviting hop fruity aromas, citric moments to it. Well hop fruity taste, sappy grapefruits to the fore followed by a semi-dry fruity ending with a discreet bitter bite. Medium bodied. Likeable.(Tromsø, 13.01.2026).

0,33 stridsenhet fra et velfungerende utsalg rett sør for bygrensa, hjemme: nærmest viskøs utskjenking til mitt Orval-glass, kortvarig beige skum, kaffeduftende og med akutt symptombehandlende smak og virkning. Nytraktet espresso tilsatt en kork (eller to!) Baileys, mørke karamellsjokolader og et streif av kanel. Sterkt vanedannende, men heldigvis alt for dyr til at den kan bli et jevnlig innslag.

12 oz. can. Pitch black in appearance. Aroma is roasted malt, chocolate malt, soft earth. Flavor is a exact copy. Good body and strength of the malts. Nice body with a bitter char finish. Maybe a hint of alcohol. Decent for sure.
