On tap at session Muskoka. hazy orange, small white head. Biscuity malts, subtle, in behind some nice citrus zest. Hops are there but soft, and a little muddled. Malts kinda take over and hops fade. Low bitterness, hint of grapefruit pith bitterness, with some floral hop cones, and bready malts in the end.

Cask Days 2012.
Clear brown pour, small beige head. Aroma of toasted nuts, light bready malts, and some hint of smoke. The smoke wasn’t as prevalent as i expected in the aroma. Its a tad more present in the middle, and the finish, but its a little underwhelming. The finish is low on the bitterness. The Malts stick around throughout the whole beer, but the hops fade in and out as the smoke does. meh.

On tap at Wvrst.
Clear brown pour, small white head. Big aroma of cocoa, herbs, and some slight spice. soft mouthfeel, and soft carb. The finish is hot, the jalapenos really comes through the cooca make another big appearance, and the finish is dry, and low on the bitterness with a subtle dose of herbs, and more cocoa. interesting to say the least.

Cloudy gold pour, small white head. Aroma of sharp grassy hops, and solid cereals. Light tropical fruit, and a medium bitterness, round out the lively carb. This to me is more of a belgian ale, im not getting many saison traits here.

been wanting to try this one for a long time! medium orange pour, hazy, and it looks thick. sticky off white head. HUGE aroma of citric floral hops, and a light cedar soapiness. the flavor is just a pallet thrasher! all hops, all the time! long lingering bitter finish. Easily the best IPA Ontario has ever seen.

Volo Cask Days 2009. This is what bud light wished they could be! Great aroma of lime, and fruit. Super refreshing, and crisp, i really enjoyed this. If they bottled this for the summer it would FLY off the shelves.

on tap at the beer bistro. Grassy hops, and some nice biscuity malts. The oak is subtle, and doesnt seem to take away or add to the beer at all. Just overall a nice beer.

On Tap At C’est What? A deep black pour, nice aroma of roasted malt, and dark chocolate, with a very subtle, but still there, sweet cherry. Flavor is more of a stout, but a well made one. The cherry is there in the aroma, but i can’t really detect it much more anywhere else. All in all though, a nice drinking stout.

Medium hoppy aroma, notes of citrus, and slight pine. Touch of malt, btut mostly hops in the flavour. A good APA, but Mill Street Tankhouse is still your best bet for an APA in Ontario.
