Can from the the LCBO.
Pale yellow pour, with a small white head. Pale malts, minerals, hay, wet paper. Soft mouth feel, soft carb. Low bitterness, crisp, and clean. What you'd expect.

Can from the LCBO. Pours a cloudy yellow with a small white head. Big lactic nose, lots of sour citrus notes, light cereals, aroma is promising. Mouth feel. Is thin, carb is extremely soft. Finish is not as tart as expected, the tartness falls off, citrus fades, the aroma is promising, but the beer falls flat in the end.

Tap at barhop 2. Dark brown pour, with a small tan head. Aroma is super woody, an earthy with lots of sweet caramels, and subtle, dark ripe fruit. The barrel takes over at the end though, and becomes cloyingly sweet, and slightly boozy. The fruit dies off and leaves a harsh, sharp, woody cereal note.

Tap at barhop2. Dark red pour, no head. Up front slap in the face of straight up vinegar. Strong pungent vinegar. I can’t find anything else going on here. Carb is gone..... Mouth feel is paper thin. Finish has hints of earthy, woody barrel.... Then the vinegar smacka you in the face and makes you forget anything redeeming about this beer.. From. Past ratings I’m thinking this might have been an infected keg.

On tap at session Muskoka. Clear golden pour, medium white head. Very grassy hop notes, solid upfront cereals, and some light yeast. Hints of wet paper, good mouth feel, served at a perfect temperature. Finish is floral, and grassy, and the malts are in perfect balance. Low bitterness, crisp and refreshing.

Run of the mill apa. Hops lean more towards pine than citrus, and the malts are a little too upfront. Instead of creating balance I mind the malt takes over in the end. The finish is clean, medium bitter, with some grassy pine notes, and some serious caramel malts. Good, not great.
