Description
As the oldest microbrewery in Florida, we are committed to two great challenges: satisfying our thirst for a well-crafted brew, and fulfilling the need to contribute to a strong, vibrant community. Dunedin Brewery is founded on values that make these goals a reality; like yourself, we value the integrity to stand for a cause, the stability gained from working hard, and the experience of connecting with good people—our dedicated staff of beer enthusiasts or our loyal guests. There are plenty of things to do in Florida—even plenty of things to do in Tampa Bay—but we strive to be more than just a place and more than just a beer; we strive to meet the challenge of creating an amazing city and an amazing craft brew. Sláinte!

Poured up on tap at the brewpub where it exhibits a clear yet very dark rosy mahogany colored body that supports a nice lasting tan head of foam. The modest aroma offers up smooth smelling malts and then thin rings of dark roasted malts and coffee. The taste delivers a nice mix of malt sweetness and dark roasted malts that have a thin ring of coffee and slightly drying lactose. It maintains a sweet to roasty balance right into the finish with snippets of caramel malts around the edges. Nice.

Poured up on tap at the brewpub where it exhibits a clear mahogany colored body that supports a nice light tan head. The aroma offers up roasted malts and light roasted slightly earthy coffee. The taste starts with dark roasted malts that have a thick edge of burnt maltiness. Just behind the nearly firm maltiness lurks slivers of lagery yeast and esters. Wow. This has a good load of dark roasted maltiness and just enough body to hold it together.

Poured up on tap at the brewpub where it exhibits a murky gold body that supports a dirty white head. The aroma offers up apple, apricot and pear with a light pepper note in the background. The taste is fruity sweet and peppy with spice and pepper. The juices seem to deliver apple, guava, apricot and a bit of pear. This is nice as the play between the fruity sweetness and peppery spice is spot on.

Poured up on tap at the brewpub where it exhibits a hop hazed gold body that supports a white head and leaves behind cask poured sheet lacing. The aroma offers up hop bitter smelling grapefruit and tangerine and a bit of lime. Nice. The taste bursts with hoppy goodness that’s tangerine, grapefruit and almost lime like citrus hoppiness. The hops lean strongly toward hop bitterness and some slight resiny notes. Solid.

10.5% AVB version poured up on tap at the brewpub where it exhibits a deep dark body that has dark mahogany edges and supports a thin tan head. The aroma offers up dark roasted malts, chocolate, chocolate malt balls and then a thin layer of yum. The taste starts bold with firm dark roasted malts to burnt and coffee and then it quickly slides into pleasing chocolate goodness and a thin sweet molasses sensation. Yum. To midway in the background lurks faint blueberry like sweet dark fruity esters that harken back to old school Russian Imperial Stouts, nice. Solid beast of a beer that makes for a terrific sipper.

Poured up on tap at the brewpub where it exhibits a slightly hazy copper to brown body that supports a light tan head. The aroma offers up sweet raisin, a bit of cherry and then a thin plum - fig mixture. The taste starts with plenty of sweet dark fruity esters like plums, raisins and cherries and then flowing into a light blend of spicy and earthy fruitiness. Cool.

My first Dunedin rate in god knows how long. Yes!
Poured up on tap at the brewpub where it exhibits a clear deep copper body that supports a thin light tan head. The aroma offers up minerals and juicy smelling berry infused sweet dark fruity esters. The taste starts with earthy minerals, cherry candy and then plum and berry juice. Interesting. The mineral note drops off pretty quick leaving sweet dark fruity esters that have a lingering fruit juice notes and a bit of a dry sensation.
