Cask-conditioned at the Bag ONails, Bristol 6/8/08. Mahogany coloured with a decent, off-white head. Aroma of dusty, dark chocolate, red fruit and some earthy hops. Flavour driven by sweet malts, with some more bitter chocolate and a decent dry finish. Good stuff.

Cask-conditioned at the Knights Templar (JDW), Bristol 16/7/08. "Lager style" pretty much sums this one up. Pale gold with a slight white head. Light aroma of sweet malt with a touch of grassy hops. The flavour was sweet in the main, with some corn, the merest hint of pineapple and a short dry finish. Drinkable but dull.
