Curious gas statio find, what is this? A dba for Labatt? Or just some weird name. Anyway, pours bright gold with a very full head. Nose is bright and fresh with straw and crackery malt. Light hop nose is a touch catty (?!) and grassy. Flavor is pretty balanced, light-medium bodied biscuity malts, lightly catty hop flavoring, and a medium bitterness. Everything just right there in the balance. Clean fermentation profile. Somewhat creamy presentation. What the hell? This is a damn fine blonde ale, maybe the best of its style I've ever had?!

330ml @ 🏬 during St. Patrick Day celebration. Appearance: brown with a huge beige head. Aroma: roasted malts, fruity notes, some raw water. Taste: along the same lines. Finishes with bitterness. Overall: ok, nothing special.

Tall skinny can. Pour into glass reveals an almost artificial sweet cherry nose. No pink or red color in this clear pale bubbly beer. Decent sizzle on the first uptake. Taste certainly is unmistakably cherry; they say its natural flavors, but it is a little artificial in taste. I do like cherry, but this seems to have some unfermented sugars added to the brew. Not as good as I was hoping. Bought a sixer of these for $2.50, whew. Disappointing. When am I going to learn to not by a beer by its label? Just asking.

Dark gold with a small soapy yellow white head. Skunky and bitter with a floral hop note. Medium finish and body.

Into a glass this is clear pale with a big fluffy head that fades. Decent clean pils nose. Somewhat sharp astringent bite leads the way. Yes, not sure how this is a blond or golden, it's a pils if you ask me. OK, it says it's a golden ale on the label, but it lacks the civilized nature of most golden ale blondes. Not bad overall but that sharp astringent bite is almost phenolic, beyond domestic sharp pils, and sticks with you clear thru the finish.

Pale golden with no head. Aroma of vague malt. Taste is almost nonexistent, vaguely sweet corn malt. Palate has Pilsen notes. Wild.

Drank from 341mL bottle @ Le Drague, Quebec City (garbage tick at a non-beer bar - “do you have a stout? I have this…”). Sweet corn malt, clean and bland. Nothing much else to say…
