Draft @ Bucks Head, London. Black with a beige head. Aroma of dark chocolate and some espresso. Taste of mousse au chocolate, cocoa, dark chocolate, roasted malts and coffee with a somewhat dry finish. Low bitterness. Low carbonation. Creamy mouthfeel. Very balanced and süffig. Brilliant.

Fra cask på Aspach & Hobday, Bermondsay Beer Mile: klar rødlig kastanjefarge med fint skum som varer. Ristet brød og nøtter, krydderkake, havrekjeks med mørk sjokolade og barskog. En god brown ale med mersmak.

Can from Appellation Wines. Cheers Ash! Pours clear amber to brown with a thick beige head. Aromas of sweet spice and brown bread, lebkuchen. Taste is more of the same. Clean finish. Nicely judged with the spicing.

Appearance - deep amber to brown and fairly clear. Beige, nicely proportioned head.
Nose - sweet spice and brown bread, spiced biscuits and German Christmas biscuits.
Taste - sweet spiced cake and biscuits.
Palate - light to medium bodied, sweet and lightly roasty.
Overall - good, actually. Good malt bill underneath.

Draught, 5% at Skaal Sønderborg. Roasted aroma, biscuit, old hay. Hazy dark brown colour. Small stable off-white head. The flavour is roasted with hard toasted dark bread and dark malts. Great mild coffee finish.

Draught @ SKAAL Sønderborg. Pours clear chestnut brown with airy light tan head. Clear atoma of malt amd ginger, with touches of nuts, cinnamon, and hops. Bitter, roasty flavour with nutty notes and touches of ginger, cloves, and malt. Herbal and dusty aftertaste with nutty and malty touches. Reasonable.

(Keg at Pikkulintu Puotila, 20251115) The beer poured golden and hazy. Its head was medium sized and white. Aroma had citrus fruits, honey, grass and fruitiness. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were citrus fruits , honey, citrus fruits and bitterness. Aftertaste had grass, citrus fruits and bitterness. Good.
