Half at the Holy Tavern in Clerkenwell. This was a good way in to an All in pub tour so its a bit hazy. A reasonable pale with a touch of spice. Not bad.

Cask at The Pocket, Highbury/Islington, London. An amber/brown coloured pour with a medium bubbly off white head on top. Sweetish, malty, caramel, cinnamon, spice action. Interesting festive brew.

Can. Xmas gift from the missus. Clear dark cola brown. Thin beige foam. Nose has the cinnamon first off then the ginger then roast coffee bean malts. Taste is semi sweet and semi dry. Touch of spice. Minimal bitterness. Drinks easy and medium bodied. Dry light spicy finish. Nicely done festive job.

44cl can, BB 19/06/2026 partagée avec Vincent.

Can. A Xmas gift from the missus. Soft haze on a medium gold. Slim sticky lasting white foam. Nose has fruity light spicy light herbal character on top of clean bready malt. Taste is semi sweet with moderate bitterness and a faint tingle of spice from, presumably, the ginger. The juniper and orange zest are noticeable but subtle. Light spicy bitter finish. Nice one. Comes together really well.

Pours a clear golden. medium sized white, stable head. Scent is malty, white bread, 'thick' aroma, Mild on earthy hops. taste is malty, very fresh, medium bitterness, some earthy hops. Very drinkable. More intense than the classic bitter they make (especially compared to the nitro version). very agreeable and enjoyable.
