Description
Hi, we’re Van Moll. We’re crazy about beer, which is why we brew it. In 2013 we opened a brew pub in the heart of Eindhoven – our very own flavour lab where everyone can sample our creations. Best idea ever!
We try to delight daily with exciting new tastes and flavours. We experiment and balance, treading the fine line between bold and brazen, without going over the top. A fixed selection of core beers and a varied range of exceptional specials.
Once you’ve mastered the basics, that’s when the adventure really starts. We mix tradition and knowledge with a dash of confidence and cockiness to brew up the perfect party. And that’s exactly what it is: a party for the palate for all who dare.
Grote batches worden gebrouwen bij Lighttown Brewers, waar van Moll deel van uitmaakt.

GBBF Day 1. Cask. Light haze on this amber beer, small pale cream colour head. Good Oud Bruin tartness. A little acid, but mostly that very tart red wine tartness. Light dry finish shows some more actetic acid. Light dry finish. Tart and sour in a Oud Bruin way. Tidy.

Light haze on this deepish amber beer, short lived and small pale tan head. Nose is slightly gluey white wine. Smooth palate, quite light, decent minerally carbonation develops. Soft malts, pretty sweet, cream and caramel. The white wine is obvious, unfortunately so is the solvent vibe. Nice oak induced vanilla just about holds this beer together. Light and semi dry finish brings a touch of saison herby bitterness, really not much saison character here. A rich but flawed beer, plenty to like but the glue is a distraction and reduces drinkability.

Can. Slight hazy light golden. Dry malts, sour citrus, starfruit, light grassy. I don’t get a lot of hops or guava, but it’s an OK sour ale. Over medium sour, lighter sweet.
