Rather good, bit pinkish head over copperish red beer. Vinous nose, red-pink fruti, very ripe purple gooseberry, red winegrapes, and wild yeasts. Again red/pink grapes, other fruit. Lactic & fruitacids, but all quite mild. Very comples, no doubt thanks to the semi-wild yeasts. Sour peaches. Light acidburnt and -thinning; medium bodied, good carbonation. Excellent & surprising!

Disappearing small cream-rust head over jet-black beer. Vulcanized rubber, chemistry, vanilla, peanuts. Completely different flavour, dry, with ashes and a remarkably light body (*). Some chocolated, cacao. Light (*) for its ABV, as the feel is viscous. Good carbonation. A disconcerting beer, putting one on the wrong foot throughout. I'm really not a huge fan. Txs to Stef!

Bottle @ Belgian Beer Geeks Autumn Gathering 2025. Pitch black pour, large beige head. Good chocolatey undercurrent.. really pleasant stout overall, subtle roast, good malt layers.. lovely

Bottle at BBGG. Very dark brown with big tan head. Sweet malts, earthy, red wine, dry oak, a touch of funk, vanilla, marzipan, chocolate. Medium sweet and bitter, very light sour. Solid medium bodied.

Clear dark brown to black beer, practically no head, just a few unstable bubbles, non adhesive. Aroma: malty, grains, hay, lots of alcohol, good roast. MF: soft carbon, medium to full body. Taste: lots of alcohol, good roast, caramel notes, some solvents, chocolate, molasses, pretty sweet. Aftertaste: gentle roast, a bit sweet, sugary, alcohol, a little bitter, some chocolate, somewhat chemical, good!

Bouteille 50cl, BB 06/2029.
Brune foncée, col crémeux blanc-cassé présent une belle tenue.
Arôme sur un malté renforcé – caramel, chocolaté, crysal le tout sous couvert d’un appui de fruits noirs – entre myrtilles, mûres et un savoureux bouquet de barrique qui rend un effluve vanillé léger, et une petite sensation épicée en support.
Palais sur un malt pâle/caramel tenace et renforcé par un délicat apport chocolaté – le tout reprend un peu une base de la BigMama. Notes de fruits noirs en support. Cette mise en barrique de whisky Français venant du Pas-de-Calais accompagne parfaitement la base de ce gros stout. Je ressens un côté cacao, fruits noirs rappelant la mûre, et une petite pointe vanillée du whisky – biscuité, cookie dough voire même une petite touche anisée en fin de bouche.

0.33l bottle from Beergium. Aroma is vinous and musty with blackberry note. Pours murky mahogany color with thin creamy tan-like head, yeast residue and sparkling appearance. Taste starts tart vinous and berry-like, follows by tannins and cereals, mouthfeel is smooth but rather dry, while finish is mild bitter. Light to medium body, creamy texture and soft carbonation in palate. Acid dreams…

Bottle at Le Bier Circus, Brussels on 30th January 2025. Copper with shallow yellowy white foam and pattern lacing. Rich malty aroma. Tangy fruits burst in mouth and a fruity finish. Zingy mouthfeel and a fair amount of body.

0.33l bottle. Opaque copper body with a lasting white head. Aroma of bread crust, grape must, barnyard notes, pepper and lemon juice. The taste starts sour like yoghurt and lemon juice, then it shows notes of bready malts and a bit of grapes and grapefruit. Medium body with medium carbonation. Decent beer.
