375 ml bottle. Hazy golden color, fast dying head. Aroma shows slice apples, wood and some traces of sugar. Where is the dry hopping?

I really, really wanted to get hops someplace in the cider, I just couldn’t find it. The only difference with this I found was a mild wood note hiding under the apple. It’s good but finding the hop would have been much more exciting.

Pale yellow. Looks like lemonade. Smells like any other cider. Maybe hops but very hard to pick up. Good mouthfeel, astringent and brightly.

Fresh bottle shared by Chris, 7/25/15.
Clear light-violet tinged liquid looks pretty in the glass, though carbonation is low, leaving a small off-white head that fizzles quickly.
Some apple skin, very mild plum-like sweetness and a pinch of acidity round out the rather uneventful aroma. This is not one of the naturally fermented Citizen Ciders and the straightforward, ultra-clean aroma shows of it. I’m assuming they wanted it cleaner to try to really accentuate the plum notes, but instead they just got a very boring cider.
Flavor is more of the same and add to that a very watery, undercarbonated body with an almost table sugar-like sweetness. Soft plum notes, light apple juice and dry fruit skins on the end. Just too sterile and conservative for my tastes.

Thanks AFH Pink 2 ounce pour slightly hazy but first pours are clear. Very nice aroma. The plum, cherry, acid and apple come through very well. Pleasantly tart, light, good sour taste. Plums is very light. easy drinking. goes down easy and flavor fades fast.

750 ml bottle purchased at the cidery. Lightly cloudy gold color with out head. Aroma is fermented apple juice with some pear hints.

The texture is what the style imply’s: very dry, bone dry. The mouthfeel is like a dry champagne with plenty of carbonation. Also, it has a mild bitterness. I purchased this a few months ago and it appears that perhaps the bitterness shouldn’t be here. Not bad, I drank most of the bottle myself.

750 ml bottle from Winooski Beverage, 7/24/15
This is a pretty nice, tart cider. The aroma is tart apple. It pours a clear, light gold. Just a hint of color keeps it from looking like water. There's a fizzy white head that dissipates quickly as well. The flavor is again tart over sweet. Fairly light bodied. Easy drinking. Lively carbonation. Enjoyed this one quite a bit. Another nice cider from Citizen.

A golden cider with aroma of tart apples, light Brett, light chalky notes. In mouth, a nice sweet fruity apple with light pepper notes, smooth grassy notes, light tartness, pleasant. Bottle at Vermont Cheese Fest 2015.
