Perfectly clear pink and ruby coloured body with a very thin off-white head that fades incredibly fast. Aroma of very nice apples, funk, grass, cherries and a good dose of yeast - clean and dry for sure. Light-bodied; Nice dry and apple sweetness up front with a little bit of soured cherries and a touch of yeast and cinnamon at the end, but the soft fruit notes dominate in a good way - a touch of yeast comes through, but no alcohol notes at all. Aftertaste shows the apples (of course), but also some light lemons and citrus, a dose of tart cherries and some soft honey and sweetness towards the end that doesn't seem to originate from the apples> Overall, a nice and robust cider with a good balance of apples and cherries, but enough soft and dry elements that show some differences from a traditional or plain cider. Good to try and worth trying to find, especially if you like cherries! I sampled this twelve ounce can purchased from Liqour Outlet in Boonton, New Jersey on 21-November-2018 for US$2,49 sampled at home in Washington on 30-April-2019.

On tap @ Owl Farm BK. Wine glass. Pale, straw, mostly clear but with a slight haze. Smells of pears, plastic generic apples & more offensive plastic. Generic apples, malic acid, pear sweetness, yeasty residuals, too similar to their other stuff. Good carbonation, slight chunkiness to it. Very meh.

Can from Covenhoven. Plastic pint glass pour at home. Clear, pale, watermelon-zapped body. Absolutely reeks of sulfur. Once it settles, ugly yeasties & plastic. Taste is ugly yeasties, covered up by cherries & some possibly okay bittersweet cider juice. Soda silky/stickiness. Foul. Needs time to breathe? Not waiting.

Can from Covenhoven. Pint glass pour. Clear, indifferently pale, not quite flat, straw body. Smells like cascade hops & sweet onions, just because we don’t know any better. Taste is a weird mix of tart lemon-lime, bitter apples, seltzer & salt. Mildly tannic finish. All I got. The Hops got weird. Confused. Tastes like it should be a new flavor from LaCroix.

From the can. Apple and yeast aromas. Soft with light apple dust upfront turning to a quick tart apple that quickly dries into the warm meringue finish.
