Pours with a boring carbonated dark yellow and almost no head. Soft aroma of graham crackers. Taste is lemon water mixed with graham crackers. Oh yeah, that must be the maple syrup showing through. Slightly dry finish. So, after much deliberation and calculation, using my highly calibrated noggin I must conclude that this drink is just plain awful.

Has a boring orange-yellow body and minimal head on top. Soft aroma of citrus. Flavour is an odd cloying sweetness reminiscent of malt liquor. Weak and syrupy body. This is nowhere near resembling a Belgian brew.

Red amber, smooth offwhite head. very very sweet aroma of caramel, prunes, nuts, honey, very faint citrussy or flowery. chestnuts?. maple syrup. Flavor is faint citrussy, flowery, tastes a bit like real cheap sweet licorice candy, cocoa, maple syrup. Faroeviking figured it’d do great when making pancakes, and i agree. (this one was mistakenly added at lerabiere, i have now moved it)

Bottle: Poured a clear light amber color ale with a medium bubbly head with OK retention. Aroma of light maple notes is OK. Taste is quite a mess with loads of weird maple syrup notes with grainy malt and some light caramelized finish. Body is light and oily with medium carbonation. This is another example of why maple syrup is probably better on pancakes or waffles then in beer.

Bottle: Poured a clear pale yellow color ale with a huge pure white foamy head with great retention and great lacing. Aroma of maple is pretty dominant with a light malt backbone. Taste is a mix between some maple and light caramel malt. Great carbonation with average body. While this is mildly interesting, I am still trying to figure out if maple is really suited to beer since I have rarely tried one that wowed me.

Bottle: Poured a cloudy dark dirty beige color ale with a large frothy head with Ok retention and some lacing. Aroma of dry malt and light cinnamon notes is somewhat pleasant. Taste is also dominated by a generic malt based with light sweetness and some cinnamon and other spices which makes this beer more pleasant then most of their other offerings. Body is quite full with limited filtration and good carbonation. No brewing flaws and interesting use of spices makes this more interesting then your average offerings.

An orangey amber ale with a very thin white head.A light raspberry aroma with light off notes. In mouth, a rather light smooth raspberry beer with some light epsom salt notes, refreshing for summer. 2.69$ 12 on. bottle at Peluso.

Sampled @ Copenhagen Beer Festival 2010. Dark brown body, close to black with a diminishing off-white head. Aroma of roasted malt and coffee. Flavor is a bit light roasted malt, strong coffee, dry fruit and a hint of acidity. Promising but not great.

Sampled @ Copenhagen Beer Festival 2010. Golden body with just a thin white head. Aroma is light fruity with maple syrup. Flavor is light fruity with maple and some acidity. A light bitterness is more noticeably in the aftertaste. Drinkable and a bit unusually flavor in this beer, still never really interesting flavor.

Sampled @ Copenhagen Beer Festival 2010. Hazy reddish orange body with a diminishing off-white head. Aroma of sweet malt and spices. Flavor is sweet malty, some caramel and spices with a moderate bitterness in the aftertaste. Quite light but balanced, still to exiting. The aroma is the best part of this beer.
